1. Do you accept insurance?
The Vaccine Center and Travel Medicine Clinic accepts Cash, Visa and MasterCard only. We do not accept checks, Discover nor American Express. However, we provide an itemized receipt containing all the information you will need to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We cannot guarantee your insurance company will reimburse you for any vaccination.

2. Do you have the certificate to prove I received a yellow fever shot?
Yes. Every client who receives the yellow fever vaccine is provided with the official International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis approved by the World Health Organization (WHO).

3. Do you carry the malaria vaccine?
Currently there is no vaccines for malaria. The Vaccine Center and Travel Medicine Clinic is able to write a presciption for the medication. We will assess our client’s itinerary to determine the need for anti-malarial medications and, which medication to take based on the itinerary and any health contraindications.

4. Do you know what vaccines my school requires me to get?
All students should check with their schools as to the vaccines their programs requires. Students can easily obtain this information by contacting his or her instructor at their school. The Vaccine Center and Travel Medicine Clinic will review all of immunization records by the student and, based upon the school requirements, we will discuss the vaccines needed. We will review how best to proceed with the vaccine schedules and make every attempt, if possible, to provide all vaccines needed before the program’s deadline.

5. Are there any discounts for students?
Yes.

We offer student discounts (with student ID) for all Allied Health student vaccines.
We waive the administrative/office fee for Allied Health students for all vaccines required for your health care program. Other clinics can charges up to $25 administrative fee per visit. This can add $75 extra to a three shot series like Hepatitis B Vaccine.
We can review student’s vaccination records and offer ONLY the vaccines needed based on the schools requirements which can help save time and money.
We can draw blood titers in house for vaccines you may already have had or been exposed to, as proof for you school. This can be a fraction of the cost of getting the vaccine again. We email you the results!!
Our Titers prices are up to 50% lower than most labs.
We can make help students complete vaccines for clinical rotations or school deadlines by scheduling vaccines in a series in advance. We even send you an email reminder when your next vaccine is due.
Unlike some clinics, we read the results of both steps of a 2-step TB skin test. If positive on the 1st-step, then you don’t need to pay or have a 2nd-step.
We keep Electronic Medical records and input all your vaccinations into the Nevada WebIZ Database, so you will have a permanent immunization record for the rest of you career.

6. If I receive a vaccine that requires multiple doses, will I be charged an administration fee for each dose?
The Vaccine Center and Travel Medicine Clinic charges an initial office visit fee that includes subsequent administration fees for second and/or third doses. Clients will only be responsible for the cost of the vaccine at subsequent visits. However, please be advised, if the initial dose of any vaccine requiring multiple doses was not given at our clinic, a charge for an administration fee will apply.
